Commercial Electrician

Gillmann Services is currently looking for Commercial Electricians in the Huntsville Alabama for a long term project

Responsibilities

• Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems in commercial buildings, including high and low voltage wiring.
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical diagrams to execute precise wiring and system layouts.
• Utilize hand tools and power tools effectively to complete electrical tasks efficiently and safely.
• Work with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and other automation equipment to support industrial electrical functions.
• Conduct testing using tools such as ohmmeters to verify circuit integrity and troubleshoot issues.
• Follow National Electrical Code (NEC) standards to ensure all work complies with safety regulations.
• Collaborate with construction teams, including frame carpenters and general contractors, during renovation or new construction projects.
• Maintain detailed documentation of work performed and materials used for project records.
• Assist in the interpretation of schematics and technical instructions for complex electrical systems.
• Support low voltage system installations such as security alarms, data cabling, or communication networks.
