Assembler III

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required
• 5+ years of mechanical assembly, electro mechanical assembly, or machine build experience
• Experience in medical device, automation, capital equipment, or regulated manufacturing preferred
• Ability to read engineering drawings, GD&T, 3D models, and assembly documentation
• Proficient with calipers, micrometers, height gauges, dial indicators, and torque tools
• Experience with ERP/MRP systems, root cause analysis, and troubleshooting
• Experience with prototype builds, first article assemblies, and ECO implementation preferred

Responsibilities:

• Lead assembly of complex automation systems, custom machinery, and precision mechanical assemblies
• Interpret engineering drawings, GD&T requirements, and BOMs to support builds
• Perform alignment, calibration, fitting, and tolerance verification on precision equipment
• Troubleshoot mechanical, fit up, and tolerance stack issues and implement corrective actions
• Support prototype builds, first article assemblies, and engineering changes
• Mentor junior assemblers and work closely with Engineering, Manufacturing, and Quality teams
