We are looking for a Business Insights Manager to turn complex data and market intelligence into meaningful guidance for business leaders in Minneapolis, Minnesota. This role will combine analytical depth with strategic thinking to evaluate performance, interpret external trends, and shape informed decision-making across the organization. The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of how data, customer behavior, and market conditions intersect to influence priorities in a manufacturing environment.
Responsibilities:
• Build a well-rounded view of the business by connecting customer activity, competitive movements, financial performance, and broader market conditions.
• Track industry developments, economic shifts, regulatory factors, and changing user behaviors to highlight emerging opportunities and potential business risks.
• Perform qualitative and quantitative analyses to identify trends, explain performance outcomes, and uncover the drivers behind key business issues.
• Combine findings from operational, commercial, market, and financial data into clear recommendations that support strategic and tactical decisions.
• Work closely with cross-functional partners to review insights, challenge assumptions, and confirm conclusions within the context of real business conditions.
• Create forecasts, scenario models, and predictive perspectives that help leaders evaluate trade-offs and plan with greater confidence.
• Use advanced analytics techniques, research methods, and AI-enabled tools to improve the speed and quality of insight generation.
• Present complex findings through concise executive narratives, dashboards, and visualizations that clarify implications and recommended actions.
• Serve as a strategic partner to leadership by helping frame critical business questions, guiding discussion, and aligning stakeholders on next steps.• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Statistics, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• At least 5 years of experience in business insights, analytics, market research, strategy, or decision support roles.
• Strong business judgment with the ability to interpret priorities, context, and trade-offs in a manufacturing setting.
• Demonstrated skill in identifying root causes, connecting disparate information, and turning ambiguity into actionable recommendations.
• Proficiency with analytical methodologies, research practices, and statistical approaches used to support business decisions.
• Experience using AI-driven tools or purpose-built agents to enhance analysis and improve insight development.
• Effective communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders through clear, evidence-based recommendations.
• Strong organization and prioritization skills, including the ability to work effectively with imperfect data in a multi-stakeholder environment.
