Job Summary
We are seeking an Account Manager for a direct hire opportunity in Buffalo, NY. This role is ideal for a customer-focused sales and account management professional who enjoys building long-term client relationships, identifying growth opportunities, and working with customers in construction, manufacturing, steel, lumber, or related industrial markets.

The Account Manager will manage existing accounts while also developing new business within an assigned territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned customer accounts and build strong, long-term client relationships.
- Grow accounts through proactive service, upselling, cross-selling, and identifying new business opportunities.
- Prepare quotes for materials and processing requests, manage pricing discussions, and support contract renewals.
- Coordinate with purchasing, logistics, customer service, and internal teams to ensure accurate and timely order fulfillment.
- Monitor account activity, maintain accurate customer records, and proactively resolve customer questions or concerns.
- Attend client meetings, site visits, and industry events as needed within the assigned territory.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $60,000 to $65,000 per year, depending on experience.
- Schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM.
- Work arrangement: 2 days in office and 3 days in the field.
- Start date: ASAP.
