Customer Service Representative

We are looking for a Customer Service Representative to support daily customer interactions and order-related activity for a team based in Wilmington, Massachusetts. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who communicates professionally, stays organized in a fast-paced setting, and delivers dependable service across phone and email channels. The position focuses on handling customer inquiries, processing information accurately, and using business systems and Microsoft Office tools to keep operations running smoothly.

Responsibilities:

• Respond to inbound customer calls and emails with a courteous, solutions-focused approach.

• Enter and update customer orders accurately while maintaining complete records in the appropriate systems.

• Use software including Excelerator, to review shipment details and support service requests.

• Coordinate with internal teams to resolve questions, clarify order information, and address service concerns promptly.

• Make outbound calls when follow-up is needed to confirm details, provide updates, or close open issues.

• Track customer interactions and document key information to support accurate reporting and continuity of service.

• Assist with process changes and evolving team needs as new responsibilities are introduced.

• Maintain a high standard of professionalism while managing multiple requests in a fast-moving customer service environment.

• Prior experience in customer service, call center support, or a similar client-facing role.
• Ability to manage inbound and outbound calls with strong listening and communication skills.
• Experience with order entry and maintaining accuracy in data and customer records.
• Comfort using Microsoft Office applications, including Outlook, in a workplace setting.
• Familiarity with freight, transportation, or logistics environments is preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to prioritize work effectively under deadlines.
• A customer-first mindset with the ability to remain calm, responsive, and attentive to details.
