Job Description
Assisting electricians with the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems and equipment. Perform tasks such as pulling wire, running conduit, mounting equipment, handling materials, using hand and power tools, and maintaining a safe, clean work area. Follow blueprints, safety regulations, and supervisor instructions while learning electrical trade skills.

Responsibilities
- Measure various materials accurately using a tape measure to meet specified dimensions and tolerances.
- Cut materials to exact specifications for use in the pre-fabrication and fabrication departments.
- Use a variety of hand and power tools safely and efficiently to complete production tasks.
- Perform general labor duties in the warehouse, including loading, palletizing, and moving materials as needed.
- Assist with drilling, mechanical, and basic construction-related tasks in support of production activities.
- Follow blueprints or basic drawings to ensure parts are fabricated correctly for electrical construction projects.
- Support general production workflows as a production worker or helper to meet daily output goals.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote safety and efficiency in the warehouse and pre-fab department.
- Inspect materials and parts for quality, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail before they move to the fabrication department.
- Collaborate with team members and follow instructions from supervisors to complete assigned tasks on schedule.
Essential Skills
- At least 1 year of experience utilizing hand tools in the electrical space, construction, or similar environment.
- Ability to read and use a tape measure accurately for precise measurement of materials.
- Experience working with hand tools such as drills and other mechanical tools.
- Experience operating power tools safely in a warehouse or production setting.
- Strong attention to detail when working on parts that feed into the fabrication process.
- Comfort working in a general labor or production worker capacity in a warehouse environment.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
- Experience working in a warehouse, pre-fab, or general production environment.
- Familiarity with basic electrical construction concepts and materials.
- Ability to interpret simple blueprints or diagrams for fabrication tasks.
- Experience with drilling, loading, and palletizing materials.
- Comfort using a variety of hand and power tools, including drills and other equipment.
- Interest in growing into field installation roles over time.

Work Environment

The standard shift runs from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., providing a consistent daytime schedule. The setting is a production-focused warehouse where safety, accuracy, and teamwork are central to daily operations.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of MOORESVILLE, NC.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $20.00 - $25.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
