General Production Worker 18+ CNC OPERATOR
Job Description
This role supports a high-volume manufacturing operation by assisting with machine operation and basic assembly on a production line. You will work on the 31XX line handling 40 lb parts throughout your shift, ensuring parts meet quality standards and are properly prepared for subsequent processes.
Responsibilities- Load and unload CNC machines or presses safely and efficiently throughout the shift.
- Use hand tools to assemble parts on a production line according to work instructions.
- Measure parts to verify they are within specified tolerances and meet quality requirements.
- Add covers to finished axles before they enter the paint line.
- Handle 40 lb parts repeatedly during the shift, including lifting, carrying, and positioning them on and off machines.
- Lift axles and other materials from machine to machine, including occasional overhead lifting.
- Perform frequent bending, lifting, and twisting while maintaining safe body mechanics.
- Follow all safety procedures and guidelines while working on the warehouse and production floor.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to support a safe and efficient production environment.
- Work mandatory overtime, including a sixth day each week as required by production demands.
- Prior machine operating experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Hands-on experience operating any type of production or manufacturing machinery.
- Ability to consistently lift 40 lbs throughout the duration of the shift.
- Ability to perform frequent bending, lifting, twisting, and occasional overhead lifting while handling axles and other materials.
- Strong attention to detail when measuring parts and verifying they are within tolerance.
- Commitment to following safety procedures and maintaining a safe work environment.
- Availability to work mandatory overtime, including a sixth day each week.
- High school diploma or GED (required for direct hire).
- Previous experience working on a warehouse or production floor.
- Comfort using hand tools for basic assembly tasks.
- Reliability and punctuality in a structured shift-based environment.
- Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing setting.

Work EnvironmentThis position is based on a clean, well-lit warehouse and production floor where safety is a top priority. You will work around CNC machines, presses, and assembly stations, handling axles and other components throughout your shift. The role is physically demanding, requiring continuous lifting of 40 lb parts, frequent bending, lifting, twisting, and some overhead lifting. The standard schedule is Monday through Friday on first shift in the afternoon/evening, with mandatory overtime currently requiring six days per week; Sunday is paid at double time. The dress code includes jeans, a shirt with no logos or vulgar language, and steel-toed boots or shoes.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
