-Shift: Must be open to days or nights
*Position Summary:The Mechatronic & Robotic Technician is responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing automated material handling systems, conveyors, robotics, and related controls in a highly automated distribution environment. This role focuses on preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, equipment reliability, and safety.
*Key Responsibilities:
- Install, inspect, repair, and maintain automated conveyor systems and material handling equipment.
- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on conveyors, robotics, and related systems.
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Diagnose equipment issues using blueprints, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
- Perform battery changes and preventative maintenance on industrial batteries.
- Complete work orders, PM documentation, and equipment downtime logs.
- Maintain spare parts inventory and maintenance supplies.
- Troubleshoot PLC-controlled systems and automated equipment to minimize downtime.
- Follow all safety standards and equipment-specific procedures.
- Utilize Microsoft Office for reporting, communication, and documentation.
- Support continuous improvement efforts and collaborate with operations teams to maximize equipment performance.
*Required Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience performing preventative and predictive maintenance in an industrial environment.
- 2+ years of experience repairing material handling equipment (MHE), automated conveyor systems, and controls.
- 2+ years of experience reading blueprints and electrical schematics.
- 2+ years of experience working with electrical and electronic systems.
- 2+ years of experience following industrial safety practices.
- 1+ year of experience troubleshooting material handling equipment.
- 1+ year of experience using Microsoft Office applications.
- Ability to troubleshoot and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
- Experience maintaining conveyors, motors, hydraulics, and pneumatics.
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
