Forklift Operator
Job Description
This role involves operating a sit-down forklift to accurately pull orders, load and unload customer vehicles, and support overall warehouse operations in a fast-paced environment. You will ensure products move safely and efficiently through the warehouse while maintaining a clean and organized workspace.
Responsibilities- Operate a sit-down forklift safely and efficiently to move, load, and unload materials throughout the warehouse.
- Pull customer orders accurately from pick tickets, ensuring correct items and quantities for each order.
- Load and unload customer vehicles and flatbeds in a timely and safe manner.
- Stage, organize, and secure materials in designated warehouse locations to support efficient inventory flow.
- Assist with basic warehouse inventory tasks as needed to support order fulfillment and stock management.
- Maintain a clean, orderly, and safe warehouse environment by regularly cleaning work areas and equipment.
- Follow all safety procedures, equipment guidelines, and warehouse protocols while performing daily tasks.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- A minimum of 1–3 years of experience operating a sit-down forklift in a warehouse or similar environment.
- Proficiency in operating a sit-down forklift safely and confidently in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience working with warehouse inventory and handling materials accurately and efficiently.
- Ability to read and follow pick tickets and other order documentation with strong attention to detail.
- Capability to load and unload customer vehicles and flatbeds safely and correctly.
- Strong focus on safety, including adherence to warehouse and equipment safety procedures.
- Ability to work full-time hours, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
- Previous experience working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Demonstrated reliability and consistency in meeting work schedules and productivity expectations.
- Strong organizational skills to maintain clean and orderly warehouse areas.
- Effective communication skills to coordinate tasks with coworkers and supervisors.

Work EnvironmentThis position is based in a warehouse environment with a fast-paced workflow focused on order pulling, loading, and unloading. You will primarily operate a sit-down forklift and handle physical materials throughout the day. Standard hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., for approximately 40–42 hours per week. The role involves working around warehouse equipment, vehicles, and flatbeds, with an expectation to maintain a clean, organized, and safe workspace at all times.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Dallas, TX.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.00 - $21.00/hr.
