Our client is seeking a hands-on Software Development Team Lead to guide a cross-functional team responsible for building, enhancing, and supporting critical business applications. This individual will lead while remaining closely involved in technical decision-making, system design, and production support.

- Mentor a team of software developers across multiple application initiatives.
- Partner with business stakeholders to prioritize work, gather requirements, and deliver solutions that improve operational efficiency.
- Provide technical leadership through architecture reviews, design discussions, code reviews, and release planning.
- Drive modernization efforts across a portfolio of custom business applications and integrated platforms.
- Help evolve development practices, including the use of AI-assisted development tools, automation, testing, and specification-driven delivery approaches.
- Oversee application support, incident response, and root cause analysis to maintain system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with IT leadership on roadmap planning, resource allocation, team development, and process improvement.
• 5+ years of experience in software development leadership, application management, or a related engineering management role.
• Demonstrated knowledge of application lifecycle management, project delivery practices, and team performance oversight.
• Hands-on technical background with C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, HTML, CSS, and modern JavaScript technologies such as React.js or AngularJS.
• Experience working with Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, and web service integrations including REST and SOAP.
• Ability to gather and refine user requirements, translate business objectives into technical solutions, and communicate progress clearly to stakeholders.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, including the ability to guide teams through defect resolution and system improvements.
• Familiarity with identity management, SharePoint, and enterprise application support within a cross-functional IT environment.
