We are looking for a Human Resources Assistant to provide hands-on support to a growing logistics organization in Aston, Pennsylvania. This Long-term Contract opportunity is ideal for someone who is comfortable handling sensitive employee information, coordinating administrative HR processes, and supporting key activities such as benefits administration, payroll-related reporting, and onboarding materials. The role is primarily remote, with occasional local errands as needed, and offers a chance to contribute to a busy HR shared services environment during a period of growth and seasonal enrollment activity.
Responsibilities:
• Manage the secure organization and submission of payroll records and employee documentation across designated HR and shared file platforms.
• Maintain accurate personnel and HR system data by entering updates, reviewing records, and correcting discrepancies when needed.
• Coordinate user access requests for internal systems and follow through to help ensure timely setup for employees.
• Support audit activities by collecting required files, validating information, and preparing documentation for review.
• Update internal HR pages and related content to reflect current information, resources, and process changes.
• Process employee benefit enrollments and terminations while helping maintain accurate benefits records.
• Handle purchasing support by creating order requests, tracking billing details, and reconciling vendor invoices.
• Prepare recurring and ad hoc payroll-related reports for HR and business stakeholders.
• Assist with open enrollment preparation by helping develop communication materials, scheduling meetings, and arranging necessary supplies.
• Revise HR presentations and onboarding materials, provide basic employee support such as password reset assistance, and complete additional administrative tasks as assigned.• At least 3 years of experience in human resources support, HR administration, or a closely related function.
• Ability to work with highly confidential employee and payroll information with professionalism, discretion, and sound judgment.
• Advanced Excel capability, including practical experience using functions such as VLOOKUP and PivotTables.
• Strong PowerPoint skills with the ability to update presentations and prepare high-quality internal materials.
• Experience creating employee-facing communications or visual materials using tools such as Canva, Adobe, or similar platforms.
• Clear verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees and internal teams.
• Familiarity with HRIS platforms, onboarding processes, employee relations support, and screening coordination.
• Spanish language skills and exposure to HR systems such as HR platforms or payroll applications are considered beneficial but are not mandatory.
