Heat Treat Operator - Aerospace Manufacturing

Our client is a long-established precision manufacturer serving industries such as aerospace, transportation, and power transmission. They specialize in producing high-quality metal components and gearing systems for OEM and industrial customers. The team is expanding and seeking a skilled Heat Treat Operator to join their 2nd shift.

• Set up, load, and operate heat-treat furnaces, quench presses, and washers for steel components

• Monitor temperatures, soak times, and cycles according to process specifications

• Perform hardness checks and basic quality inspections to verify proper results

• Safely handle parts, trays, and baskets using hoists or lift equipment

• Maintain accurate production and process records

• Follow safety and housekeeping procedures at all times

• 1+ year of experience in heat treat or furnace operation preferred (will train the right mechanically inclined candidate)

• Ability to read and interpret work instructions, gauges, and micrometers

• Basic mechanical aptitude and reliability are a must

• Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs and work in a hot industrial environment

• Team player with attention to detail and safety
