Laboratory Technician

Kelly® Science & Clinical is seeking a Laboratory Technician for a part-time, 6-month contract position at a Contract Research Organization (CRO) in Longmont, CO. Pay Rate:
$25/hour

Overview:
In this position, you will support daily laboratory operations by preparing and organizing samples, performing routine QC testing and documentation, maintaining equipment, and adapting to changing priorities in a flexible, team-oriented environment.

Schedule:
Part-time, Monday – Friday, flexible daytime hours

Responsibilities:
  • Receive, log, organize, and prepare laboratory samples for testing or shipment, ensuring accurate chain of custody and recordkeeping.
  • Prepare buffers, reagents, and materials needed for daily laboratory workflows using established procedures.
  • Conduct routine laboratory analyses, such as HPLC, SDS-PAGE, and capillary electrophoresis, following QC protocols.
  • Complete thorough and accurate documentation in lab notebooks or provided forms for all work performed.
  • Support equipment cleaning, basic maintenance, and general lab readiness to ensure a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Communicate questions, issues, or irregularities promptly with lab leadership and adapt to shifting priorities and schedules.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
  • Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Science or related field with hands-on lab experience.
  • GMP experience preferred.
