We are looking for a highly organized Sr. Administrative Assistant to provide dedicated support to two physicians within the New Haven, Connecticut area. This Contract position is ideal for someone who is detail-focused and comfortable managing complex administrative needs in a fast-paced university-affiliated healthcare environment. The right candidate will bring strong technical proficiency, excellent communication skills, and the ability to coordinate priorities with accuracy and discretion.


Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and maintain busy calendars for two physicians, ensuring appointments, meetings, and schedule changes are managed efficiently.

• Arrange conference calls, departmental meetings, and related logistics while keeping participants informed of updates and timing.

• Prepare, format, and manage correspondence, reports, presentations, and other administrative documents using Microsoft Office applications.

• Support daily office operations by organizing records, handling routine administrative tasks, and maintaining orderly workflows.

• Use Epic and other technology tools to assist with administrative processes, documentation support, and information tracking as needed.

• Communicate effectively with faculty, staff, patients, and external contacts to facilitate smooth coordination across activities.

• Monitor details across multiple assignments and follow through on deliverables to ensure timely and accurate completion.

• Provide administrative support within a healthcare setting while maintaining confidentiality at all time

• 5+ years of administrative support experience, preferably in healthcare, higher education, or a similarly complex environment.
• Demonstrated ability to manage calendars and coordinate scheduling for senior-level staff or clinical leaders.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a wide range of stakeholders.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Experience using Epic or similar healthcare applications for administrative support functions.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Comfortable working with office technology and learning systems quickly in a fast-paced setting.
