Job Description
This full-time manufacturing role is based in Tennessee and offers the opportunity to work as an Assembly Associate in a clean, partially climate-controlled machine shop. You will assemble components and finished products, perform inspections, and help ensure that all items meet strict quality standards. The position requires strong manual dexterity, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced production environment. Available shifts include a traditional first shift and a four-day second shift schedule, with initial training on first shift.
Responsibilities- Assemble components, sub-assemblies, and final products by following established blueprints, technical drawings, and detailed work instructions.
- Use hand tools, power tools, and automated manufacturing equipment efficiently and safely to complete assembly tasks.
- Perform regular quality checks on parts and finished products to ensure they meet specifications and promptly identify defects or inconsistencies.
- Follow all safety protocols, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
- Collaborate with team members to meet daily and weekly production goals, and communicate equipment malfunctions or quality concerns to supervisors.
- Package finished goods securely and prepare them for shipment as needed, ensuring correct labeling and handling.
- Participate in training and cross-training to assist in different areas of the facility as operational needs require.
- Support continuous improvement efforts by following standard operating procedures and offering feedback on process or quality issues.
- Previous experience in a manufacturing, warehouse, or assembly environment preferred.
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time, up to 10 hours per shift, and perform repetitive motions.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and consistently lift up to 50 pounds safely throughout the shift.
- Strong hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity for precise mechanical assembly work.
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
- Reliable transportation and a strong record of consistent attendance.
- Demonstrated commitment to following all safety guidelines, procedures, and use of PPE.
- Ability to use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Prior assembly line experience is preferred, particularly in mechanical assembly tasks.
- Experience using hand and power tools in personal or professional settings, such as fixing cars, completing home projects, or similar hands-on work.
- Comfort working in a fast-paced production environment with defined output and quality targets.
- Ability to learn and follow technical instructions, blueprints, and diagrams.
- Willingness to assist in different areas of the facility as needed to support production and operations.
- Strong attention to detail and quality-focused mindset.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a collaborative team.
- Openness to entry-level candidates who can demonstrate mechanical aptitude and tool usage experience.

Work EnvironmentThe role is based in a clean machine shop environment that is partially climate controlled, providing a comfortable and organized workspace. Team members work with hand tools, power tools, and automated manufacturing equipment, following clear safety protocols and using appropriate personal protective equipment. Available schedules include a first shift, Monday through Friday from 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, and a second shift, Monday through Thursday from 2:00 PM to 12:30 AM with 10-hour shifts over a four-day workweek; second shift employees train on first shift for 2 to 4 weeks before moving to their regular schedule. The environment is fast-paced and production-focused, with clear goals, structured processes, and an emphasis on quality, safety, and teamwork.

Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $17.00 - $18.00/hr.
