Maintenance Technician / Lead - Rittman, OH
Schedule: 2nd Shift Monday-Friday 3pm-11pm
Must be able to train on 1st shift Monday-Friday 5am-3pm
Pay: $41.72/hr

What You'll Be Doing
  • Diagnose, adjust, repair, and maintain automated packaging equipment, conveyors, and related production machinery.
  • Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems to minimize equipment downtime.
  • Perform scheduled preventive maintenance, lubrication, inspections, and routine equipment servicing.
  • Make approved equipment adjustments, modifications, and improvements to support reliability and production performance.
  • Use mechanical hand tools, shop equipment, and precision measuring instruments to complete maintenance and repair work.
  • Coordinate and provide direction to equipment operators to support safe and efficient line operations.
  • Track replacement parts, materials, and supplies used during maintenance activities.
  • Identify and report equipment damage, operating concerns, and product loss to supervision.
What We're Looking For
Required Qualifications
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Journeyman certification or an equivalent combination of technical training and hands-on industrial maintenance experience.
  • 10 years experience troubleshooting and repairing industrial or manufacturing equipment.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
  • Ability to safely operate mechanical hand tools, shop tools, and precision measuring equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently while responding effectively to changing production priorities.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience maintaining conveyors.
  • Previous experience in a lead, senior mechanic, or production-support role.
  • Background in high-volume manufacturing, packaging, food, chemical, or process production environments.
  • Experience with preventive maintenance programs and equipment reliability initiatives.
