HR Generalist
Automation Personnel Services is looking for an HR Generalist for LG Electronics in Huntsville, AL. In this role, you will be responsible for managing day-to-day human resources operations. Key duties include coordinating recruitment and onboarding, administering benefits, resolving employee relations issues, maintaining HRIS records, and ensuring compliance with labor laws.

Pay Rate
$28 per hour

Schedule and Hours
8:00 am – 5:00 pm Monday through Friday (Hours may vary)

This position will be a 6 month assignment (could be extended due to business needs)

HR Generalist Duties and Responsibilities
• Post jobs, screen candidates, schedule interviews, and guide new hires through orientation.

• Answer HR related questions.

• Enforce company policies and maintain adherence to federal, state, and local employment laws.

• Maintain accurate and confidential employee data, track leave, and process changes.

• Assist with benefits enrollment, payroll inputs, and performance management cycles.

HR Generalist Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• 1 to 3 years of professional HR experience.

• Proficiency with HR Information Systems (HRIS), Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS), and Microsoft Office.
• Strong written and verbal Communication skills.

• Strong problem-solving skills.

• High level of discretion/confidentiality.

• Ability to co-work within a team environment.
