$20-$23 per hour starting pay rate.

Job Description

A shipping and receiving clerk handles incoming and outgoing packages in a warehouse. Job duties include forklift operation, tracking inventory, keeping accurate records, packaging and weighing items, printing shipping labels and postage, inspecting goods received for damage, and distributing products to other departments.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift
• Track inventory and maintain accurate records.
• Package and weigh items for shipment.
• Print shipping labels and postage.
• Inspect goods received for damage.
• Distribute products to other departments.

Essential Skills

• Experience in material handling and inventory control.
• Proficiency in data entry and shipping and receiving processes.
• Ability to operate a forklift.
• Experience with RF scanners, SAP, and cycle counts.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• MRP Experience.
• Willingness to work overtime and handle 5 plus shipments daily in a fast-paced environment.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Chattanooga, TN.

The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $23.00/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
