Adecco is partnering with a leading Aerospace components manufacturer in Long Island, NY. We’re looking for a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join our team in Hauppauge, NY. This is an excellent temp-to-perm opportunity for someone with manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience who enjoys hands-on work and takes pride in producing high-quality products.

What You’ll Do

• Assemble mechanical components and subassemblies using hand and power tools.

• Read and interpret blueprints, assembly drawings, work orders, and instructions.

• Perform fitting, adjustment, testing, and inspection of parts and assemblies.

• Use measuring tools such as calipers, micrometers, dial indicators, and voltmeters.

• Work with mechanical, hydraulic, optical, and electrical/electronic components.

• Perform soldering, coil winding, subassembly, and final detailing as needed.

• Identify quality issues and ensure finished products meet specifications.

• Help improve production processes through Lean manufacturing initiatives.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and organized work area.

What We’re Looking For

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• 2+ years of manufacturing or mechanical assembly experience.

• Ability to read and understand basic blueprints and technical drawings.

• Comfortable using hand tools, power tools, calipers, and other measuring equipment.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

• Ability to work independently while following established procedures.

• Mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn new processes.

Pay Details: $25.00 to $28.00 per hour
