MECHANIC
$33.60–$36.00/HR | BAKERSFIELD, CA | DIRECT HIRE
Monday–Friday | 8:00 AM–5:00 PM
We’re looking for a seasoned Automotive Technician who can diagnose and repair vehicles with minimal supervision. If you need someone standing over you to tell you what the check-engine light means, this isn't the job.
HARD REQUIREMENTS DO NOT APPLY unless you have:
'14;️ 4+ years of professional automotive repair experience
'14;️ Strong computerized diagnostic & electrical troubleshooting skills
'14;️ Experience with gas AND diesel vehicles
'14;️ A valid California Driver License & Clean DMV
'14;️ Your own professional hand tools
⚠️ Some weekends, overtime & seasonal schedule changes may be required
WHAT YOU'LL ACTUALLY BE DOING
Diagnose and repair gasoline & diesel vehicles
Perform preventative maintenance and safety inspections
Troubleshoot complex mechanical, electrical and computer-related issues
Use electronic diagnostic equipment and repair manuals
Test drive vehicles to verify repairs
Accurately document repairs, parts, labor and equipment electronically
Assist and guide other technicians when needed
Follow all safety, EPA and company procedures
