Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Production Planner II for a direct-hire opportunity in San Fernando, CA within a manufacturing environment. This role is a great fit for a planning professional who enjoys building production schedules, coordinating inventory needs, and working closely with operations, customer service, purchasing, and production teams to keep workflow on track.
The Production Planner II will help develop daily, weekly, and monthly production plans based on customer orders, sales forecasts, inventory levels, and material availability. This is an excellent opportunity to join a collaborative, fast-paced team where communication, organization, and proactive problem-solving are valued. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules based on customer demand, forecasts, inventory levels, and material availability.
- Coordinate with production, purchasing, customer service, and warehouse teams to support on-time order fulfillment and efficient workflow.
- Monitor inventory levels, material constraints, and schedule changes to identify potential shortages or production delays.
- Review customer orders, production capacity, and lead times to help prioritize work orders and scheduling needs.
- Communicate schedule updates, planning issues, and production priorities to cross-functional teams in a timely and professional manner.
- Support continuous improvement efforts related to production planning, inventory accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary range: $55,000 to $65,000 per year.
- Direct-hire opportunity.
