Salary: $31.85/hour - Salary is Negotiable (Employees will receive 5% below the negotiated pay rate during their probationary status.)

Responsible To: Oneida Behavioral Health Director

Summary: This position provides direct leadership and supervision over peer-based recovery and/or community support programming and services delivered by recovery support services staff at the Oneida Recovery Nest. Work under the guidance of the Oneida Behavioral Health Director and local Recovery Support Services Director to facilitate the engagement of individuals who may benefit from recovery support services Serve as a role model, mentor, advocate, navigator, and motivator to at times, individuals in or seeking recovery in an effort to promote person-centered recovery planning and goal realizations, which may include reductions in harm from substance use and sustaining long-term recovery. The RCS must demonstrate an ability to manage all aspects of recovery support services programming, including staff and programming scheduling, one-on-one and group supervision, partner relationships, grant data reporting, and development of new programming as needed. The RCS should consciously share personal lived experiences as appropriate, develop authentic peer-to-peer relationships, and have an understanding of and respect for each individual’s unique path to recovery and/or community re-entry. Continuation of this position is contingent upon funding allocations.

Minimum Qualifications: Applicants please clearly state how you meet these qualifications on the application/resume.

  • Master’s degree in social work, Counseling, Community Mental Health Counseling, Psychology or Marriage and Family Therapy or related field.
  • Three (3) years of current work experience in Mental Health, Social Work or Psychology field.
  • Three (3) years of experience working in community-based recovery settings, and at least one (1) year of experience supervising peer staff in a community-based setting.
  • Clinical Substance Abuse Counselor or Substance Abuse Counselor License.
  • Must be billable and reimbursable for commercial insurance, and medical assistance.
  • Recovery Coach Professional Certification, Certified Peer Specialist, or Certified Family Recovery Specialist.
  • Wisconsin State Certification as an LPC, LMFT, LCSW or possess Training license and willing to obtain regular LPC, LMFT, LCSW within two (2) years of employment.
