Robert Half is partnering with a dynamic biotechnology company seeking an Entry-Level Office Assistant / Workplace Coordinator to join its team. You don't need years of experience to succeed in this position. We are open to recent college graduates and early-career professionals who bring a positive attitude, strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn.


Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome employees, visitors, candidates, and vendors in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Help maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming office environment.
  • Monitor and replenish office, kitchen, and breakroom supplies.
  • Coordinate incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and deliveries.
  • Assist with meeting room setup, catering, and office events.
  • Support basic office moves, furniture arrangements, and workplace organization.
  • Coordinate with building management, janitorial services, maintenance, and other vendors as needed.
  • Assist employees with basic workplace requests and direct questions to the appropriate team.
  • Maintain office supply inventory and place orders when needed.
  • Provide administrative support to the HR, People, Facilities, and/or Operations teams.
  • Help maintain workplace documentation, calendars, and basic spreadsheets.
  • Assist with special projects and other administrative duties as assigned.


Qualifications

  • Recent college graduate or 1+ year of office, customer service, administrative, hospitality, or workplace experience preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Professional, friendly, and service-oriented personality.
  • Comfortable communicating with employees at all levels.
  • Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office or Google Workspace.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and follow through on tasks.
  • Reliable, punctual, and willing to be hands-on.
  • Ability to work independently while also being a strong team player.
  • 5+ years of experience in office coordination, administrative support, hospitality, customer service, or a similar workplace-facing role.
  • Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail and the ability to keep multiple tasks moving efficiently.
  • Clear and detail-focused communication style with a friendly, service-focused approach when interacting with employees, guests, and vendors.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office or Google Workspace, including Outlook, calendars, and basic spreadsheet management.
  • Ability to prioritize changing responsibilities, follow through on assignments, and work effectively with limited supervision.
  • Dependable, punctual, and comfortable taking a hands-on approach to stocking, room setup, and general workplace support activities.
  • Capable of collaborating across teams while also managing individual responsibilities independently.
  • Physical ability to handle light lifting and assist with supply movement, room arrangements, and workplace restocking tasks as need
