Welder/Fitter

A leading manufacturing company is hiring a Welder Fitter to join their team in Honey Brook, PA. The position involves working on-site with a focus on fabrication and welding processes. This is a direct hire opportunity for skilled welders seeking a stable role.

Welder Fitter Responsibilities:

• Safely prepare and assemble various alloys according to technical drawings and process sheets.
• Interpret blueprints, including ASME code and AWS weld symbols, to ensure proper fabrication.
• Configure and operate welding equipment and plasma cutters while adhering to safety standards.
• Use shop tools like grinders, torches, cranes, and forklifts daily to support manufacturing tasks.
• Perform basic non-destructive testing (NDE) procedures as needed and maintain quality compliance.

Welder Fitter Qualifications:

• Proven safety awareness in industrial environments.
• Ability to accurately read measuring tools up to 1/64 inch.
• Experience following verbal and written instructions, including work orders and drawings.
• Working knowledge of welding techniques such as SAW, FCAW, GMAW, GTAW.
• Minimum of 5 years welding and fitting experience, including ASME pressure vessel work, with primary education in Welding Technology or equivalent practical experience.
