We are looking for an experienced Paralegal to join a collaborative in-house legal team supporting a growing healthcare organization in Irvine, California. This Long-term Contract position offers the opportunity to contribute across employment, litigation, corporate, and compliance matters while working closely with internal stakeholders and external counsel. The role is well suited for a highly organized individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can manage sensitive information with discretion.
Responsibilities:
• Provide day-to-day paralegal support for employment, litigation, corporate, and compliance matters across the legal department.
• Prepare, examine, and organize a variety of legal documents, correspondence, and agreements to support ongoing business and legal needs.
• Manage subpoenas, court-related materials, and filings with government agencies in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintain legal records, case files, databases, and other confidential documentation with strong attention to detail.
• Perform legal and factual research and help coordinate communications between internal teams and outside counsel.
• Support contract administration processes, compliance-related activities, and special legal projects as assigned.
• Assist with litigation tracking, discovery coordination, trial preparation, and the use of case management systems to monitor deadlines and case activity.• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Paralegal certificate preferred.
• At least 5 years of paralegal experience within a corporate legal department or law firm environment.
• Background in employment litigation, litigation management, or broader litigation support.
• Experience preparing and submitting filings with state and federal agencies.
• Proficiency in discovery, civil litigation support, trial preparation, and case management software.
• Strong organizational, communication, and multitasking abilities, with the ability to handle confidential matters effectively.
