Inventory Control Coordinator
Job Description
The Inventory Control Coordinator is responsible for maintaining accurate inventory records, monitoring stock levels, and supporting efficient material flow throughout the facility. This role works cross-functionally with production, purchasing, and logistics to ensure materials are available, properly tracked, and aligned with operational needs.
Responsibilities- Maintain accurate inventory records through cycle counts and system updates.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies in a timely manner.
- Coordinate and execute regular physical inventory counts.
- Monitor inventory transactions and escalate shortages, discrepancies, or material concerns to Purchasing.
- Ensure proper material handling, labeling, and storage practices.
- Complete same-day receiving and inventory transactions consistently.
- Support receiving, stocking, and issuing of materials to production.
- Partner with purchasing and planning teams to align inventory levels with demand.
- Track and report key inventory metrics such as accuracy, shrinkage, and turnover.
- Maintain organization and cleanliness of inventory areas.
- Assist with ERP or inventory management system updates and transactions.
- Follow FIFO procedures and inventory control processes.
- Inventory management, cycle counts, and data entry proficiency.
- Experience with shipping and receiving processes.
- Material handling capabilities.
- Ability to lift, carry, push, and/or pull up to 50 pounds.
- 2+ years of inventory, warehouse, or manufacturing experience.
- Experience with ERP or inventory management systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Basic proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
- Moderate skills in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Advanced Excel skills (pivot tables, V-look ups, if statements).
- Materials handling and receiving experience.
- Ability to manage multiple types of inventories in various locations.
- Experience in large-scale manufacturing environments is a plus.

Work EnvironmentThis position operates in a warehouse and light manufacturing environment supporting 3D printing operations. Duties involve handling raw materials such as filaments, resins, and powders, as well as finished goods. The work environment includes exposure to moderate noise, moving mechanical equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks, and variable temperatures. Employees are required to follow all safety protocols and may be required to wear personal protective equipment (PPE), including gloves, eye protection, and respiratory protection where applicable. The shift is 1st, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Carlsbad, CA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $22.00 - $24.00/hr.
