Shipping And Receiving Associate

As a Shipping and Receiving Associate, you will operate a sit-down forklift to load and unload trucks according to customer orders. You will work with various materials such as metals, steel, alloys, aluminum, and carbon steel, preparing them for shipment. Overhead cranes will be used to lift and move materials. You will also receive training on side loaders, plasma cutters, and saw machines, offering opportunities for cross-training and advancement.

• Operate sit-down forklift to load and unload trucks.
• Use overhead cranes to lift and move materials.
• Prepare metals, steel, alloys, aluminum, and carbon steel for shipment.
• Engage in cross-training on side loaders, plasma cutters, and saw machines.

• 1+ years of general production experience in a non-climate controlled manufacturing setting.
• Proficiency in operating forklifts and RF scanners.
• Experience with material handling, order picking, and inventory management.
• Ability to perform cycle counts and manage inventory.
• Skill in using tape measures and working with overhead cranes.

• Experience with side loaders and RF scanners is a plus.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of TAMPA, FL.

The pay range for this position is $18.50 - $18.50/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
