We are looking for an HR Generalist to support daily people operations and help create a detail-focused, responsive employee experience for a diverse workforce in Fort Worth, Texas. This contract position with the potential to become permanent is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-moving environment and can balance employee support, compliance, and administrative accuracy. The role will contribute across onboarding, benefits, payroll coordination, HR documentation, and bilingual communication in English and Spanish.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate onboarding activities by preparing onboarding materials, guiding employees through required paperwork, and helping ensure a smooth start aligned with company standards.
• Maintain organized and confidential personnel records while processing employment updates, status changes, and other routine HR transactions in accordance with applicable regulations.
• Respond to employee questions regarding HR forms, verification requests, and general policy matters with accuracy and timely follow-up.
• Support benefits administration by assisting with enrollments, qualifying life-event changes, open enrollment tasks, and communication with insurance carriers to resolve issues.
• Gather and review payroll-related information, including time and attendance details, to help ensure accurate and timely submission for processing.
• Work closely with payroll and finance partners to investigate discrepancies, confirm adjustments, and reinforce compliance with pay practices and reporting requirements.
• Draft and refine job descriptions and help keep handbooks, policies, and procedures current, consistent, and aligned with organizational practices.
• Provide bilingual HR support in English and Spanish, including verbal assistance and translation of employee communications, policies, and related documents.• Minimum of 3+ years of experience in human resources, including exposure to generalist or coordinator-level responsibilities.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish, with the ability to communicate clearly in both written and verbal formats.
• Working knowledge of HR administration, employee onboarding, benefits support, and payroll coordination.
• Familiarity with employee relations practices and the importance of handling sensitive information with discretion.
• Strong organizational skills with careful attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively.
• Understanding of HR compliance requirements related to employee documentation and recordkeeping.
• Proficiency with HRIS platforms and comfort learning or using payroll systems; experience with related tools is beneficial.
• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.
