HR Generalist (Manufacturing)

LHH Recruitment Solutions is currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist with a proven track record in a manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in employee relations, recruiting, benefits administration, compliance, and HR operations. This is an excellent opportunity for an HR professional who thrives in a fast-paced manufacturing setting and is passionate about supporting employees while partnering with leadership to drive organizational success.

Responsibilities:
  • Serve as a trusted HR resource for employees and management, providing guidance on HR policies, procedures, and employee relations matters
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, onboarding, and new hire orientation
  • Support employee relations activities by investigating concerns, resolving workplace issues, and promoting a positive work environment
  • Administer employee benefits programs and assist employees with benefit-related inquiries
  • Coordinate performance management processes, employee development initiatives, and training programs
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and company policies
  • Maintain HR records, personnel files, and employee data within the HRIS system
  • Assist with leave administration, attendance tracking, and workers' compensation processes
  • Partner with manufacturing leaders to support workforce planning, retention strategies, and employee engagement initiatives
  • Analyze HR metrics and prepare reports to support business decisions and continuous improvement efforts
Qualifications:
  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience, preferably within a manufacturing or industrial environment
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field preferred
  • Strong knowledge of employee relations, recruiting, onboarding, benefits administration, and employment law
  • Experience supporting hourly and salaried employee populations
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
  • Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office applications
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP, PHR, or similar certification is a plus
Salary: Starting at $70,000+ based on experience
