Job Summary
We are seeking a Fire Sprinkler System Designer for a direct hire opportunity in the Salt Lake City area, based onsite in West Valley City, UT. This role is ideal for a designer with at least 1 year of fire sprinkler system design experience who is ready to grow with a supportive, collaborative team in the engineering services industry.
As a Fire Sprinkler System Designer, you will create accurate, code-conscious fire protection system layouts for commercial, residential, and industrial projects. This is a strong opportunity for someone who enjoys technical design work, interpreting construction plans, and contributing to life safety solutions that protect people and property.

Key Responsibilities
- Design fire sprinkler systems for commercial, residential, and industrial building projects.
- Create layouts for wet, dry, pre-action, and other fire sprinkler system types.
- Review and interpret construction drawings, architectural plans, and project specifications.
- Produce accurate design documents using AutoCAD and HydraCAD.
- Collaborate with project teams, contractors, and internal stakeholders to support high-quality project delivery.
- Help ensure designs align with applicable standards, project requirements, and field installation needs.
Compensation and Benefits
- Direct hire opportunity.
- Salary range: $70,000 to $100,000 per year, based on experience.
- 100% onsite position in West Valley City, UT.
