What You'll Do
As a Food Service Associate, you'll play an important role in supporting hospital food service operations and ensuring patients, visitors, and staff receive high-quality meals and excellent service.
Daily Responsibilities Include:- Preparing, serving, and distributing meals while following food safety standards
- Working in various areas including:
- Tray Line
- Cafeteria
- Dish Room
- Storeroom
- Food Preparation Areas
- Assisting customers and operating cash registers when needed
- Washing, sanitizing, and organizing dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment
- Maintaining cleanliness through mopping, sweeping, and general sanitation tasks
- Portioning and presenting food accurately and attractively
- Supporting coworkers to ensure timely meal service
- Following safety, sanitation, and healthcare food service procedures

ScheduleFull-Time Shifts Available
Day Shift: 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM
Afternoon Shift: 12:00 PM - 8:00 PM
- Monday through Friday schedules
- Occasional weekends as needed
- Structured hours in a professional healthcare setting

Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Pittsburgh, PA.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $18.00 - $18.00/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
