Job Summary
We are seeking a detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist, HRIS Transaction Specialist for a temp-to-hire opportunity in Torrey Pines, San Diego, CA. This role supports a structured HR Shared Services environment within the aerospace and defense industry and is ideal for an HR operations professional who thrives in high-volume transaction processing, HR data accuracy, and case management.

The role provides exposure to key HR systems, employee lifecycle processes, compliance requirements, and long-term career growth in HR operations and HRIS administration.
The successful candidate will help maintain accurate employee records across SuccessFactors Employee Central, SAP, ServiceNow, and related HR platforms while supporting timely, compliant HR transactions for hires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, organizational updates, and terminations.
Key Responsibilities
- Process high-volume employee lifecycle transactions in SuccessFactors Employee Central and SAP, including hires, rehires, transfers, promotions, compensation changes, organizational changes, and terminations.
- Manage and resolve approximately 30 to 40 HR cases per day through ServiceNow while meeting SLA, documentation, and compliance expectations.
- Review, validate, audit, and reconcile employee data, approvals, source documentation, effective dates, compensation details, position information, and organizational assignments.
- Perform pre-entry and post-entry quality checks to ensure employee data is accurate, complete, and properly reflected across HR systems and downstream processes.
- Identify, investigate, and resolve data discrepancies, missing information, duplicate records, workflow issues, and transaction errors.
- Partner with HR Services, Payroll, Benefits, Talent Acquisition, managers, and HR centers of excellence to support employee data integrity and timely issue resolution.
Compensation and Benefits
- Salary Range: $60,000 to $70,000 per year.
- Job Type: Temp-to-Hire.
- Duration: 6 to 12-month contract with potential for conversion.
- Location: Torrey Pines, CA 92121, San Diego area.
- Shift: Day Shift.
