Locums Medical Oncology Physician in Indiana - Full Time, 4-Day Week, Phone Call Only
Job Description
Medical Oncology locums coverage in Indiana with a consistent 4 day clinic schedule and consult support from an established APP and physician team, plus telephone only call coverage when assigned.
Highlights
- 4 days per week, Mondays off.
- Open to IMLC Physicians
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient Medical Oncology, adult patients age 18+.
Practice Setting
- Mix of inpatient and outpatient Medical Oncology, adult patients age 18+.
- Case mix is approximately 80% clinic, 20% hospital.
- Typical volume, clinic 18 to 20 patients per day; hospital 10 to 12 patients per day.
- Support includes 3 physicians, 4 NPs, and hospitalist team support for admissions with consulting oncologists.
Schedule
- Tuesday through Friday, 8am to 5pm.
- 4 days per week, Mondays off.
- Call rotation includes serving as primary and backup to the APPs, call is telephone availability when assigned; schedule is TBD.
- Scheduled call window listed as Friday 7pm through Monday 7am.
Requirements
- Must be an MD or DO.
- Medical Oncology, Board Certified or Board Eligible, certification within 5 years of residency.
- Indiana license required, or open to IMLC Physicians; may wait for license with an active IMLC LOQ only.
- BLS required; ACLS required if requesting conscious sedation privileges.
