General Production Worker
Job Description
As a General Production Worker, you will be an integral part of our production line. Your primary duties will include assembling materials, operating machines, and ensuring that products are inspected before packaging them for shipment. You will also be responsible for rotating through various positions to enhance your skills and adaptability.
Responsibilities- Operate and monitor machinery on the production line.
- Assemble components and inspect parts for quality before packaging.
- Lift and place materials into boxes for shipment.
- Rotate through different positions to maintain efficiency.
- Work overtime as needed, including early starts or extended shifts, and occasional Saturdays.
- Six months of recent experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs.
- Experience in visual inspection and identifying defects.
- Demonstrated job longevity, with at least 8 months at each of the last three jobs.
- Experience with machine operation.
- Mechanical aptitude.

Work EnvironmentWork in a dynamic plastic manufacturing environment that may become warm during summer months. You will collaborate closely with team members while adhering to safety protocols, including wearing work pants, shirts, closed-toed shoes, and safety glasses. Please note that long fingernails are not permitted for safety reasons. The available shift is from 10:30 pm to 6:30 am.
Job Type & LocationThis is a Contract to Hire position based out of Roseville, MI.
Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $16.95 - $16.95/hr.
Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
