Job Title: General Production WorkerJob Description

As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for the complete manufacturing process of magnet wire products. Your duties will include handling raw materials, feeding raw wire into the production line, understanding specification sheets to set machines, operating and troubleshooting machines, and ensuring the quality of the production line using the HMI touchscreen. You will also document in-process updates by hand and use an overhead crane and forklift to move finished products. The role is designed to be easy on the body, as the automated lines perform most of the work.

Responsibilities
  • Handle raw materials and prepare them for production.
  • Feed raw wire into the production line.
  • Set machines according to specification sheets.
  • Operate and troubleshoot basic machine issues.
  • Pull in-process enamel samples and ensure quality.
  • Document all in-process updates manually.
  • Use overhead cranes and forklifts to move finished products.
  • Ensure safety and attention to detail in all tasks.

  • Ability to work safely and independently.
  • Capable of standing, walking, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbs repetitively.
  • Willingness to work 12-hour shifts.
  • Open to training on forklift operation.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English.
  • Willingness to walk stairs or use a manlift.

  • Previous experience in manufacturing, warehouse, or construction is beneficial.
  • Strong tenure at previous employers.
  • Good soft skills and a willingness to learn and be trained.

Work Environment

The facility is very clean, although some areas can be loud and hot. It is a traditional manufacturing environment with plans for expansion. Employees work on a 2/2/3 schedule, with first shift from 8 AM to 8 PM and third shift from 8 PM to 8 AM. The company is committed to growth and improvement.

This is a Permanent position based out of Franklin, IN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.11 - $23.61/hr.

Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
