Mechanical Technician / Automation Equipment Mechanic

Express Employment Professionals, Laguna Hills is recruiting for a Mechanical Technician / Automation Equipment Mechanic for a well-established company in San Clemente.

Service Line: Evaluation to Hire, Full-time

Pay: Up to $25.00/Hr.

Schedule: Monday – Friday, 6:00AM – 2:30PM

Responsibilities:

• Clean and sanitize automated filling and packaging equipment
• Set up machines for production orders and perform equipment changeovers
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform minor mechanical repairs
• Perform preventative maintenance on production equipment
• Read and follow job orders and production schedules
• Complete production paperwork accurately
• Assist with keeping equipment and work areas clean and organized
• Work closely with a small production and maintenance team

Requirements:

• Strong mechanical aptitude required
• Previous mechanical experience preferred
• Automotive, diesel, tractor, industrial, or similar mechanical experience is a plus
• Ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues
• Ability to read and write in English
• Strong attention to detail and safety awareness
• Reliable and dependable work ethic
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced production environment
• Ability to work with your hands and use basic tools
