Packaging Operator

Position: Packaging Operator / Packaging Associate
Pay: $19.50/hour
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, 7:00 AM–5:30 PM; overtime as needed on Fridays

Key Responsibilities

• Manually inspect, label, and package clinical and commercial products.
• Package finished products according to company procedures and quality specifications.
• Inspect packaging, components, and finished products for quality and remove defective materials.
• Complete accurate manufacturing documentation, including batch records, device history records, and inventory counts.
• Perform basic mathematical calculations required for production and batch documentation.
• Assist with inventory counting and inventory control activities.
• Participate in safety audits and daily safety discussions.
• Clean packaging stations and processing equipment routinely.
• Follow PPE, gowning, and contamination-control requirements.
• Properly handle hazardous waste according to established procedures.
• Follow production schedules and meet quality and productivity requirements.
• Work effectively as part of a team in a manufacturing environment.
• Work flexible schedules and overtime when required.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• At least 6 months of industry/work experience.
• 0–1 year of packaging experience.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to follow written procedures and quality requirements.
• Good documentation and organizational skills.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Willingness to work overtime and flexible schedules.
• Ability to follow safety and PPE requirements.
