House Keeper

Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our professional housekeeping team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of residential properties. Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of residential spaces, including dusting, vacuuming, mopping, and surface sanitation to uphold high standards of cleanliness.
• Implement proper cleaning and sanitation procedures using appropriate cleaning detergents and equipment.
• Handle laundry tasks efficiently, including washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and clothing.
• Maintain floor care by performing tasks such as carpet cleaning, floor polishing, and debris removal to ensure pristine surfaces.
• Manage manual handling tasks involving heavy lifting of furniture or equipment safely and effectively.
• Communicate professionally with clients to understand specific cleaning preferences and address any special requests.
• Utilize janitorial and custodial experience to maintain cleanliness across various surfaces and areas within residential settings.
• Ensure all cleaning equipment is properly maintained, stored securely, and used in accordance with safety guidelines.
• Conduct outdoor work when necessary to clean patios, walkways, or exterior entrances as part of comprehensive housekeeping services.
• Support housekeeping management by assisting in scheduling tasks and maintaining inventory of cleaning supplies.

Requirements

• Proven experience in residential cleaning or housekeeping roles; prior janitorial or custodial experience is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of cleaning surfaces, floor care techniques, carpet cleaning methods, and sanitation standards.
• Familiarity with the use of various cleaning equipment and detergents to ensure effective results.
• Strong manual handling skills with the ability to perform heavy lifting safely.
• Excellent time management skills to prioritize tasks efficiently within scheduled timeframes.
• Ability to communicate clearly with clients regarding their needs and preferences.
• Outdoor work experience preferred for tasks involving external property areas.
• Demonstrated reliability with a professional attitude towards maintaining high standards of cleanliness.
• Basic understanding of customer service principles to enhance client satisfaction.
