We are looking for a Procurement Specialist to support sourcing and purchasing activities for engineering, construction, concession, equipment, and service needs in Orlando, Florida. This Contract to permanent opportunity is ideal for a detail-oriented procurement specialist who can manage complex purchasing work, navigate formal solicitation processes, and deliver cost-effective results without compromising quality or compliance. The role requires strong judgment, vendor engagement, and the ability to guide acquisitions from early market research through contract administration.

Responsibilities:
• Manage end-to-end procurement activities for materials, services, equipment, construction, and concession-related needs while ensuring alignment with organizational standards and timelines.
• Conduct market analysis to identify suppliers with relevant experience, evaluate purchasing options, and support informed sourcing decisions.
• Prepare clear solicitation documents and specifications for formally advertised and competitive procurement events, including RFQ-driven processes.
• Lead vendor communications, facilitate negotiations, and analyze pricing to secure favorable commercial terms and overall value.
• Review bids and proposals, assess responsiveness and suitability, and recommend awards based on established purchasing criteria.
• Generate purchase orders and maintain accurate procurement documentation throughout the acquisition lifecycle.
• Administer contracts after award by monitoring vendor performance, resolving procurement issues, and supporting compliance with agreed terms.
• Partner with internal stakeholders on engineering, construction, and concessions initiatives to translate operational needs into effective purchasing strategies.• Experience in corporate procurement with responsibility for complex purchasing activities and supplier engagement.
• Working knowledge of purchase order creation, procurement functions, and structured buying processes.
• Demonstrated ability to manage RFQ processes, formal solicitations, and competitive sourcing events.
• Strong background in contract negotiations, pricing evaluation, and vendor relationship management.
• Ability to interpret scope requirements and develop procurement specifications in collaboration with stakeholders.
• Familiarity with contract administration and post-award supplier performance oversight.
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills with attention to compliance and ethical purchasing standards.
