Job Title: CDL A Driver / Switcher (Evening Shift) Pay: $30.78/hr + overtime Location: Rotterdam, NY Job Type: Full-Time Schedule: Monday–Friday | 6:00 PM start until completion (typically 40–50 hours/week) Shift: Evening / Nights

Pay: $32/hr + overtime

About the Role:

Our client—a global leader in recycling and sustainable materials management—is hiring a reliable, experienced CDL A Driver / Switcher for a stable, year-round position in Rotterdam, NY. This is a well-established operation known for safety, sustainability, and maintaining high-quality equipment.

What You’ll Do

• Move, route, and position trailers between the yard and loading docks
• Pick up and return empty and full trailers to the plant
• Switch empty and full trailers 3–4 nights per week (depending on distance)
• Load, secure, and unload cargo as needed
• Lift 25–50 lbs while managing equipment and trailer movement

What You Need

1. Valid CDL A with 2+ years of driving experience
2. Satisfactory driving record
3. Valid DOT medical card
4. Ability to lift 25–50 lbs
5. Comfortable using handheld devices (smartphone or similar), or willing to learn
