Restaurant Host Hostess

About the Role

The Host/Hostess is the first point of contact for our guests and sets the tone for an exceptional dining experience. We’re looking for someone warm, organized, and energetic who thrives in a fast‐paced, guest‐focused environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Guest Greeting — Welcome guests with a friendly, professional attitude.
• Reservation Management — Manage seating charts, waitlists, and reservations using our restaurant systems.
• Table Coordination — Ensure smooth seating flow and communicate table status with servers and management.
• Phone & Guest Communication — Answer calls, provide menu and restaurant information, and assist with takeout inquiries.
• Cleanliness & Organization — Maintain a clean, organized host stand and entrance area.

Qualifications

• Prior host/hostess experience preferred but not required
• Strong communication and customer‐service skills
• Ability to multitask and stay calm under pressure
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Weekend availability required
