Lead Solar Service Technician
Job Description
The daily responsibilities, tasks and requirements will include:
-Troubleshooting of solar systems on residential and commercial roofs
-Troubleshooting of battery systems
-Commissioning solar + battery systems
-Installation of EV chargers, and other electrical upgrades ( Smart thermostats, smart breakers, dimmers, etc.)
-Removal and Re-installation of solar PV systems
-Candidates should be familiar with electrical wiring, solar, and general building mechanics.
-Work in harsh work conditions including roof tops, attics, crawl spaces, ladders, and construction sites.
-Communicating through email, phone, and text.
- Have a clean and valid drivers license to operate company vehicle.
- Able to read technical documents, assess the project, and install equipment to the local / national electric building code as well manufacturer specs.
-Maintain personal hand tools and small power tools.
-Work in clients homes & businesses in a clean, respectful, diligent way.
-communicate to service manager daily and maintain a daily log of hours.
-Brands we work with - ( Enphase, Tesla, Franklin Solar edge, Solark, Homegrid, Simpliphi, + more)
-Willingness to attend continuing education courses and work with new emerging technology.
-Preferred 3+ year experience in the solar industry
Comfortable with reading and implementing construction plans.
Required high school diploma, technical training, safety training, licensing and or accreditation

Turn key solar installer based in Asheville NC. Servicing all of WNC, upstate SC, and eastern TN. Installing solar, batteries, generators, smart home management systems, EV chargers and electrical contracting services.
