Warehouse Forklift Operator

The Warehouse Forklift Operator plays a crucial role in ensuring efficient warehouse operations by safely operating forklifts, managing stock, and preparing shipments. Working within a medium-sized team and reporting to the Warehouse Manager, the operator supports daily logistics and inventory management through both manual and digital systems.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklifts safely to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and procedures at all times
• Organize stock efficiently and maintain accurate records
• Pick orders accurately to prepare shipments for dispatch
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness and optimize workspace layout
• Utilize Warehouse Management System (WMS), manual inventory tracking, and barcode scanning technology to monitor stock
• Report operational issues and progress to the Warehouse Manager

Preferred Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in warehouse operations
• Valid forklift operator certification
