Heavy Equipment Operator

QLM is looking for an experienced and dependable Heavy Equipment Operator to operate construction equipment safely and efficiently on active jobsites. The operator will assist with excavation, grading, material handling, site preparation, and other construction activities as needed.

2+ years of heavy equipment operating experience, especially with excavators, skid steers, loaders, bulldozers, or backhoes.

Operate heavy equipment such as excavators, skid steers, loaders, bulldozers, and/or backhoes

Perform excavation, grading, trenching, and site preparation

Load, move, and place dirt, gravel, debris, and other materials

Conduct daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues

Follow jobsite safety procedures and OSHA requirements

Work safely around other equipment, workers, and utilities

Assist with general labor duties when equipment operation is not required

Maintain a clean and organized work area

Follow directions from supervisors and foremen
