Commercial Truck Driver (CDL-A) Local Driver

JOB OVERVIEW

Thor Xpress Transport, LLC is a well-established and continually growing logistics company, specializing in air freight trucking, linehaul, LTL, FTL, warehousing, and cargo screening.

We are seeking Truck Drivers possessing a CDL-A License to operate and drive Class A commercial motor vehicles in compliance with all FMCSA and DOT regulations. Responsibilities include transporting time-sensitive cargo between customers, warehouses, and local airports.

KEY DUTIES

• Safely load, transport, and unload freight according to strict delivery schedules
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections of vehicle to ensure safe operation
• Communicate with dispatchers, customers, and other team members with professionalism
• Provide excellent customer service at all delivery points
• Report any incidents, accidents, or delays promptly to appropriate parties
• Other duties, including changes to delivery routes as required and assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school diploma or GED (General Education Diploma) equivalency
• Must be 21 years of age or older
• Minimum of 2-years of experience as a Class A CDL Driver
• Must successfully complete a driver's road test
• Physically qualified in accordance with a rules and regulations, including 49 CFR Part 391
• Ability to read and interpret standard documents such as safety manuals and procedural guidelines
• TSA airport security clearance eligibility
