Prepare and serve meals to patients, ensuring adherence to dietary restrictions and special requirements.
Clean and sanitize food service areas, including kitchen equipment, utensils, and dining areas.
Maintain inventory levels of food and supplies, and place orders as necessary.
Follow proper food safety and hygiene procedures to prevent contamination and ensure quality standards.
Assist in food preparation, including cutting, chopping, and assembling dishes as directed by the chef or supervisor.
Monitor and record food temperatures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Communicate effectively with kitchen staff, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to coordinate meal schedules and patient dietary needs.
Assist in the delivery and collection of patient meal trays, verifying the accuracy and completeness of orders.
