Rollback/Wrecker Tow Truck Operator (CDL-A)

Under the supervision of the Wrecker Operations Manager, this full-time position will be responsible for handling daily dispatched large wrecker/rollback calls in the Williamsburg and surrounding areas. This highly motivated, self-sufficient operator is expected to be a “walking example” of the organized professional operation that Skimino Enterprises Inc. strives to be. The ideal candidate will be highly adaptive to changing environments, schedules, and applicable regulations.

Requirements:

• Must have or be able to obtain DAD/Towing license
• No automatic restrictions
• Must have or be able to obtain TWIC and military base access
• Have medical examiners certification
• Provide a recent (within 30 days) and clean MVR
• Must have at least 2 years’ experience as a wrecker operator of rollback trucks
• Must be fluent in the English language
• Must have and keep current a USA issued driver's license
• Must have excellent customer etiquette and communication skills
• Have the ability and desire to form close working relationships with other team members
• Clean, manage, and maintain tools and vehicles which are assigned
• Perform duties during regular working hours and when circumstances arise, additional duty time required to complete a dispatched call or task required by manager
• Have a willingness to travel out of the area, and sometimes out of town, at any time of the day or day of the week as necessary
• Be receptive to on and off-site training with exceptional results
• Must be willing to learn and perform a diverse array of other assigned duties
• Must pass a criminal history check
• Must pass pre-employment and subsequent random drug/alcohol screenings
