Traveling Lead Technician

Lead Technician in Atlanta - Travel Required as needed

This position is responsible for onsite installation, service, and repair of low voltage data cabling as well as support for customer networks, Data (copper and fiber), Voice, AV systems, Access Control, CCTV (IP and analog).

We are looking for a leader who can oversee a crew, work independently, and interact with customers.

Job Description:

• Install, terminate, test, label & document horizontal, backbone & other cables.
• Dress & route cable into telecom closets, modular furniture & other work area outlets.
• Build out telecom & equipment rooms
• Firestop various types of cable penetrations
• Test, troubleshoot, & document test results for cabling
• Interface with customer contacts on projects and lead crew
• Provide daily job briefings and updates

Successful candidates will have:

• Cabling and Security background
• Previous Lead experience
• Willing to travel as needed
• Proficiency with Fluke testing equipment
• Working knowledge of current cabling standards and codes
• Professional appearance and demeanor
• Strong communication skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work on ladders
• Ability to work on scissor/ Boom lifts
• Training certifications a plus
