Professional Dog Bather

At Brookside Barkery we are seeking commissioned Pet Bathers to become an integral part of our growing team! You will be responsible for bathing pets and building a customer base. We believe in high quality bathing at Brookside that pet parents notice the difference when they bathe with us. We are looking for team members who understand the importance of GREAT customer service with every Pet Parent, every time. We believe we are here to serve the Pet Parents and community around us and are looking for team members to join us with a heart of service.

Responsibilities:

• Welcome and greet Pet Parents into the store and bathing area
• Connect with the Pet Parents as they check in for services
• Understand the needs of the Pet Parents for "doing what's "best for their pet"
• Consult and advise as to the best solution Brookside Barkery can provide to improve the health of their loved one - understand what they want from the bathing experience
• Be friendly, personable, genuine and authentic.
• Be a great Team Member, putting the team's needs ahead of your own
• Being reliable and showing up on time for shifts

Qualifications:

• Bathing experience is a must - we are very busy groom shop and expect high quality
• Reliable to show up each day and on time - we have appointments every day for our bathers and showing up each day is a must
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to build rapport with pet parents
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Strong operational mindset - we run clean, neat and organized service areas
• Team player - we always operate as a team and help each other
• Available and flexible in schedule, both weekday and weekends and ready to cover other shifts that come available when needed
• Respectful of supervisors and others
• Must have personal responsibility as a core quality
