***Pallet Jack or Forklift Experience is a MUST***
Compiles and maintains records of quantity, type, and value of material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies.
Counts material, property, equipment, merchandise, or supplies and posts totals to inventory/property records.
Verifies record computations against physical count of inventory and adjusts errors in computation or count, or investigates and reports reasons for discrepancies.
Responsible for checking in Delivery Drivers, inspecting all returning trailers, verifying returned goods and damaged products and re-entering goods into inventory.
This position handles all matters relating to inventory control, checking the quality of designated products, and taking daily inventory of produce and spoiled products.
Primary Tasks:
Perform assigned duties efficiently to reduce spoilage and contribute positively to the profit margin.
Check the quality of produce and ensure any poor-quality product is removed before a customer can purchase.
Keep inventory up to date daily.
Sort through pallets of bad products.
Repack produce in the most timely and efficient manner to reduce spoilage and lost inventory.
Perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements:
Bending, Twisting, Kneeling, Reaching(above shoulder level), Standing, Crawling, Climbing, - the following actions may with done with more than 20lbs- Lifting, Pushing, Pulling, Carrying, in a Dry, Cooler or Freezer warehouse environment. Keyboarding and Filing Steel - Toe Shoes/Boots
Required Qualifications:
High School Diploma/GED
